Veteran Outreach released its first newsletter today. We will be doing this quarterly to provide news and information on the organization and its mission.

Over the past month, Veteran Outreach has organized our PTSD related Counseling Program and we are ready to begin operations. Many new contacts and relationships in the local community have been made which will serve our mutual efforts. In addition, we would like to again thank everyone who has supported us throughout our inception.

Veteran Outreach received its official IRS determination letter today designating us as a section 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.

Veteran Outreach has updated the website with many new pages, information, and links. A special thanks to everyone who has donated and volunteered to date. Your support has been vital to our progression.

We are making plans to begin two campaigns: one seeking Veterans of Desert Storm, Vietnam, Korea, and World War II for our mentorship program and an information campaign to reach local Veterans and families affected by PTSD.

Veteran Outreach, Inc. sent out a mailer to nearly 200 clinicians in the San Antonio area introducing the organization, discussing our clinical program, and seeking pro bono assistance from those interested. To date, we have been contacted by four clinicians wishing to aid our efforts. We appreciate their support and encourage others to do the same. One session per week is one more Veteran we can help.

Veteran Outreach Directors sent out a letter to family and friends discussing the nature and purpose of Veteran Outreach as well as seeking support for the organization.
